D. Yes that what I was referring to....do you use it?
E. That doesn't help did you try it several times?
Also:
F. Do you have any maintenance software (i.e. TuneUp Utilities 2010 or suchlike, there's a free trial avalable for 30 days)
I normally run TU after I've removed a program it removes any junk left in the registry, and allows a clean install.
G. Can I assume you are running the latest executable?
I asked about NLH, because OldMan has incorporated an modified version of NILE in it, so if you did use it you could use that facility (just a thought).
What I'd like to suggest, is that you re-install NILE in the following manner.
REMOVAL
A. Attempt to use Microsofts "Add remove Programs" to remove it, else just delete the nile.exe and all files in that folder (I'm assuming here, that NILE is in its own folder and NOT in the JO game folder) if you have installed NILE in the game folder, it'll never work.
B. Delete the NILE config files in "My documents" (as described/done previously)
C. Run a maintenance application to remove any remnants from the registry. (I would highly recommend TuneUp Utilities, I have been using it for years)
RE-INSTALL
A. NILE MUST be in its own folder, NOT in the game folder. ( I put mine in a totally separate folder, so if I want to re-install the JO, theres no problem with dumping folders)
B. Install NILE in the usual way.
C. set you Resource Directory, & test.
Obviously you don't have to do any of this, if you're happy as you are, leave it.
It's what you do that makes you what you are, not what you say you do. Going without, teaches you how to handle the disapointments in life, getting everything does not. When confronted with a issue, use this philosophy. First time = could be an accident, Second time = it's coincidence, Third time = take enemy action.
